On Saturday, August 15th, we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. This event was 10 years in the making as on our original wedding day, the reception was not very good. We decided to have the anniversary party at Dave and Buster’s in Plymouth Meeting as Amy loved the banquet hall and I loved all of the video games. 71 friends and family attended the party.

10th Anniversary Party - Part 2 - AMY'S SURPRISE
During the meal, we asked our friends to put together 4 video clips, “Saturday Night Live” style to entertain the guests. What Amy did not know was that I had requested that I be involved in the last video clip so that I could surprise Amy. The first video is the clip that our friends had made and the 2nd was recorded live at the party.

10th Anniversary Party - Part 3
After dinner, dessert and the ring, the guests had two hours to play video games. As you can see, they all had a GREAT time.

UFC 101 - DECLARATION
Yesterday Jay went to UFC 101 with Scott Godfrey, Mike Dennis and Mike Dennis’s Dad, Mick. Jay had to wait 3 months since he won the tickets from WMMR to attend the event, but it was well worth it!
They got to the Wachovia Center a bit early and had to wait until the doors opened.

The pay per view did not go live until 10:00pm, but once inside, it was electric for the preliminary fights which started around 8:00pm.
Jay really liked watching Amir Sadollah on the Ultimate Fighter reality show, but in his fight verses Johny Hendricks, he got annihilated.
The fight between Anderson Silva and Forrest Griffin was awesome. It only lasted a few minutes in the first round. After Forrest Griffin ate some of Anderson Silva's fists, Forrest Griffin got knocked out with what looked like light punch. Forrest Griffin got up and ran out of the octogon. Initially the crowd at the Wachovia Center booed Anderson Silva when he entered into the ocotgon, but after he knocked out Forrest Griffin with ease, he jumped up on the ocotgon and the crowd cheered lowdly.
The second main event was a championship fight between BJ Penn and Kenny Florian. Kenny Florian really wanted to kill BJ Penn, but in the fourth round, BJ Penn submitted Kenny Florian with a rear naked choke.
The video clip below is when Forrest Griffin entered into the octogon...JUST CRAZY!
What an awesome night for Jay's first ever UFC event!

Ultimate Fighting Championship Weigh-Ins
In May, Jay called into 93.3 WMMR, answered the “lesson question“ and won 2 tickets to UFC 101 which was coming to the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia. He was then entered into the GRAND PRIZE which was 2 more tickets and also 4 passes to the Q&A session and weigh-ins the day before the event. Since he is so lucky, he won the grand prize and today he went to the weigh-ins.
The stage set up for the weigh-ins.
During the Q&A session, there was a microphone and Dana White answered questions from the crowd. Jay found this clip on Youtube of a guy asking a question that resulted in a major seat upgrade.

Softball Championship Game
Jay’s softball team, Calvary Church of Souderton, was in the championship series against Fairview Village. It was a best of 3 series and it came down to the final game. When it was all said and done, Calvary lost the game 20-10.
After the game, a team photo was taken. Jay edited the photo to show what it would have looked like had they actually won the game and the championship. And yes, several players were not present at the game so Jay photoshopped them into the photo.

It was a great season and the team can only get better next year!
