On Saturday, our neighborhood had a community yard sale. Since we had plenty of things to get rid of, we got up early and set up the driveway with things to sell. Kayla, Emily and Tyler stayed over the night before so they helped to set up. The Schreier’s and Davis’ also showed up with things to sell.
Throughout the day, we had a lot of buyers. The night before, Emily and Amy made muffins and lemonade for Emily to sell during the day. Her sales started out slow, but once she made her first 25 cents, she got motivated and started selling more. She made about 3 dollars during the sale.
Mark Rober even stopped by with Dante to say hello.
It was a great day with friends while making a little money in the process. Too bad it has already been spent on a new dehumidifier. Well, there’s always next year!
