Myers' Children 4th Of July Sleepover

This past weekend we had the Myer’s children over for a sleepover. On Friday we went to the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley and saw Toy Story 3 in 3D. After the movie we came home and had hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. We ate picnic style outside under the tree in the front of the house.
We also had corn on the cob. When there were 2 pieces left, Tyler challenged Kayla to a corn on the cob eating competition.

Kayla may have lost the eating part of the competition, but she definitely won the messiest award.

After dinner we went to Rita’s and got water ice. Before we left, we had to clean up Emily’s hair from her being silly with the static electricity of the couch and her geeky taped 3D glasses.When we got back, Jay took the kids out back and they lit a few fireworks that he had left over from last year.

The next 2 hours, our house was filled with screaming kids as we played coin battle on New Super Mario Brothers on the Wii. What a great start to the 4th of July weekend.
