Calvary Chapel Chili Cook Off And Skate Park Drop In

Today we went to the Quakertown Skate Park to check out an event held by Calvary Chapel of Quakertown. Our church had organized a professional Christian skating crew to come and hang out with the church and the public at the skate park. While that was going on, many of the church members had made chili and the public was eating samples and voting for the best tasting recipe.
We had asked Tyler if he wanted to come and we were glad that he did. It was also the first time that many of our friends at Calvary Chapel got to see Chase.

After some skating, the crew asked everyone to sit down. They shared their testimonies and also gave an opportunity for the people in the crowd to accept Jesus Christ.

Afterwards, Amy and Chase went home. Jay stayed with Tyler where he showed off some of his skating skills.

Jay had always wanted to try dropping in on a skateboard and without Amy present, he thought that this was the perfect opportunity. It did not turn out that well.

Other then Jay’s bruised right elbow and the fact that it was FREEZING outside, we still had a fun time.
