After dinner, we gave Chase an apple to eat. He usually does not like fruits, but tonight he nibbled all over the apple until it looked like it had been shot with a shotgun. 
After “eating” the apple, we went upstairs to read. At first Chase read with each of us. 
But he soon figured out that mommy and daddy are slow readers so he decided to read the books on his own.
